2010 Achievement in Consumer Excellence Award Recipient from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, MN Chapter

New Spaces is a proud recipient of a 2010 Achievement in Consumer Excellence (ACE) award for providing an elite level of service to consumers.

Hosted by the Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI of MN), the ACE award program gives consumers the opportunity to rate remodeling service providers in five categories: quality, responsiveness, meeting deadlines, professionalism, and communication. To qualify for the award companies must submit five consumer completed surveys and receive an average rating of four out of a possible five points across all categories, without having any score lower than three in any individual category. New Spaces is honored to have achieved this service award.

2008 National Contractor of the Year Award – Bathrooms $30,000 - $60,000
A St. Paul project that was designed by Amber Newton and built by Ross Gravrok won the National Contractor of the Year (CotY) award from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). Together Amber and Ross transformed a small typical 1940’s bath into a luxury spa-like retreat with a free-standing soaking tub, double pedestal sinks, and tiled walk-in shower.

2007 MN Remodeler of Merit Award – Bathrooms Over 50SF
New Spaces received this award on April 17th, 2007 for a project completed in St. Paul. The ROMA is an annual design contest sponsored by the Remodelors' Council of the Twin Cities.
The Bathroom category includes: adding a bath, replacing old fixtures, resurfacing walls and floors, adding storage and counter space, or enlarging the bath with a bump-out or space from adjoining room

2007 BATC Best of 50+ Design and Remodeling
New Spaces was presented the first annual 50+ Design and Remodeling Award for Aging in Place Remodeling. The BATC created the award to o elevate the quality of active adult and senior housing and help builders better meet the needs of these customers.

2007 Robert L. Hanson Builder Service Award
Doug Nelson, CEO of New Spaces, was awarded the second annual Robert L. Hanson Builder Service Award by the Builders Assocation of the Twin Cities (BATC). The "Bob" Award was created in 2006 to honor BATC members for their service to the homebuilding industry.

Life Director of NAHB
New Spaces CEO Doug Nelson was named a Life Director of NAHB.

2006 Better Business Bureau Integrity Award Winner
BBB Integrity Awards program is open to any non-profit Minnesota and North Dakota company and recognizes companies which exemplify the highest standards of business ethics and integrity.

2006 Remodeler of the Year Award
Presented by the Builders Association of the Twin Cities this award is given in recognition of trust, communication, loyalty and ethics in business dealings. Members and associate members of the Builders Association are given the opportunity to evaluate the businesses they work with in consideration for this prestigious honor.

2004 Remodelor of Merit Award
New Spaces was awarded a 2004 ROMA for a Lower Level project.

2003 NKBA Design Competition Award
New Spaces was awarded first place in the Commercial Category for their kitchen showroom.

2003 Remodeler of the Year Runner Up
New Spaces was recognized as the 2003 Remodeler of the Year Runner Up. The award is presented in recognition of outstanding performance in business dealings with associate members of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC), in areas of trust, loyalty, communication and ethics.

2003 Remodelor of Merit Award
New Spaces was awarded two 2003 ROMA Awards. One for a Lower Level project and the second for a Deck/Patio project. New Spaces also received an Honorable Mention for a second Deck/Patio project.

New Spaces was awarded a 2002 ROMA for a bathroom project.

New Spaces was awarded a 2002 CotY for a recent kitchen project.

BIG 50 Award
New Spaces was honored in 1998 for its exceptional remodeling process by Remodeling Magazine, a national trade magazine. We were awarded the prestigious BIG 50 award. This award recognizes 50 of the best remodeling companies in the nation every year for outstanding remodeling processes, business practices, and innovations.
