Our Team
We have built our team of professionals to provide you with expert advice and service throughout the remodeling process. You also have direct access to your team to discuss your ideas, concerns, and questions. There are no salespeople, just your Designer, and no project manager running several projects and crews, just your Lead Carpenter. This makes your remodeling experience much more personal and enjoyable.
New Spaces Design Team:
New Spaces is proud to offer you the best and brightest in interior design. Our designers can turn your ideas and dreams into 'new spaces' that you and your family can enjoy.
All of our designers are trained in space planning, function, lighting and design and are continuously learning and discovering new products and trends. Your designer will work with you throughout the entire project – from the first meeting to the last.
New Spaces Production Team:
Our production team consists of our production manager, lead carpenters, carpenters, helpers, and trade partners. They all understand that we are privileged to be guests in your home. They are not only great with the tools of their trade, they are great at working with you and respecting your home.
Lead Carpenters:
- Maintain vital daily communication with you and other team members
- Perform the construction of your project
- Act as the site manager to ensure quality
- Produce quality craftsmanship
- Maintain daily communication with you and the project manager
- Supervise helpers, materials and subcontractors
- Enforce company policy and job site safety
Carpenters and carpenter helpers:
- Prepare the work site
- Protect your home
- Assist in construction
- Conduct demolition
- Deliver equipment and small quantities of materials
- Clean up job site.
Vice President of Production:
- Oversees and supports your production team
- Performs quality reviews after rough-in, cabinet installation, and at the end of the project
- Manages scheduling for all trade partners, carpenters and materials
- Enforces company policies and safety on the job site
- Provides vast construction knowledge and structural details
Production Specialist:
- Updates allowances regularly throughout project
- Orders materials for projects, almost all before we even start
- Sends written work orders to trade partners
- Tracks and expedites all walkthrough “punchlist” items and warranty items
Subcontractors are called trade partners at New Spaces. They are treated like partners as well. We build relationships and hire those companies that have a history of quality work, service for our customers, and fair pricing. We do not send out for the lowest bid. In addition, we have annual reviews with all of our trade partners to keep improving our systems and their performance.
New Spaces Support Professionals:
Our office staff provides support before, during and after your project. You may or may not come in direct contact with these individuals during the process but they most certainly will contribute to your satisfaction and the success of your project.
Our support staff includes our company president; architectural support; accounting and estimating; purchasing; marketing; and general office management.
