What began with a need for a more accessible primary bathroom evolved into a thoughtful update throughout the condo. The New Spaces design-build team worked closely with the homeowners to improve accessibility, functionality, and flow while creating a fresh, contemporary aesthetic.
In the primary bathroom, the layout was reconfigured to provide more room for wheelchair access, including a zero-threshold shower and carefully considered dimensions based on the homeowners’ needs. In the kitchen, small but impactful layout changes—including relocating the refrigerator and adding a custom pantry with roll-out storage—helped reduce congestion and make the space easier to navigate.

Every detail of this condo remodel was considered around the homeowners’ needs—from creating room for wheelchair access in the primary bathroom to improving movement and storage in the kitchen.
In the kitchen, relocating the refrigerator opened previously unused space for a custom pantry with roll-out storage while improving traffic flow. Updated recessed LED lighting, dimmable layers, and a new chandelier brought a brighter, more inviting feel to the long, narrow space.
In the primary bathroom, the shower was reconfigured, and plumbing was relocated to create the necessary clearance for wheelchair-to-toilet transfer. The existing vanity was reused and paired with custom linen storage, while new quartz, porcelain tile, and a glass-enclosed half wall gave the room a contemporary finish.
