Kate, her husband and four daughters were feeling cramped in their 1987 kitchen. The space wasn’t functional for a family of their size and didn’t offer the amenities Kate was looking for. “A huge plus that we needed to have from the remodel was storage space. We had very little storage space in the previous kitchen,” Kate said. She also had found a few inspirational photos online that she really wanted to replicate in her kitchen. Our designer worked together with Kate to create an open space where the family could gather. The new shabby-chic farmhouse kitchen offers plenty of storage space without feeling cluttered. The center island makes it easy for the family to spend time together and fosters conversation. The farmhouse sink, brick chimney and rustic stove hood add a charm that makes the design stand out and mirrors Kate’s inspiration. The final kitchen is bright, charming and perfect for socializing for this family of six.
