Professional Profile: Rob Houts worked as a part-time caretaker for a small apartment building after getting his undergraduate degree. This job eventually turned into a full-time position in which he managed over 1000 apartment units. His favorite aspect of the job was getting to do repairs. Later on, he changed fields to work with Kmart, Target and Best Buy, overseeing building renovations and remodels nationally. Rob eventually missed the hands-on portion of the work, so he started his own remodeling company. Rob enjoys doing everything from tile to decks, kitchens and basements.
