Burnsville Kitchen Virtual Happy Hour Home Tour

This 1990 built multi-level home underwent a dramatic overhaul! We removed the wall dividing the kitchen and dining room area to take full advantage of the views of sunset pond! We also updated the main hallway and 3/4 master bathrooms. We maximized the storage options in the master bathroom by adding a very small yet functional addition into their adjacent garage space.

Shorewood Kitchen Transformation

We wanted to take some time to highlight the before and after photos of a recent kitchen remodel that was featured in our Shorewood showcase. Before the remodel, this kitchen was dated and wasn’t ideal for the client’s lifestyle. At its core, this property was a typical late 80’s / early 90’s kitchen design that made it difficult to entertain. The room felt dark and lacked the open layout that is preferred by today’s homeowners.

Main Level Master Bathroom Renovation

After growing tired of the challenges a small bathroom from 1936 brings, these clients were looking for a creative way to get more bathroom space in their Tudor home. As the New Spaces’ team and clients worked together, they all agreed a dormer addition would provide the perfect solution. The beautiful new space has all the amenities of a modern-built home — including a spacious shower, a soaking tub, expansive vanity, and custom dressing area. The design and build of this remodel was all completed with the original architecture at heart. The final product proves that it is all in the details.

Our design team worked with this client to create a spacious family room, billiard area and a walk behind bar that is perfect for entertaining. This basement is ready for game night, movie night or a block party!

Kitchen, Powder Room, Office, Garage and Mudroom Addition

With three kids approaching their teenage years, and a Southwest Minneapolis home that only had three bedrooms (the largest of which was 10×10) our family made the decision to move six blocks east for more elbow room. Our 1927 center hall colonial was last remodeled in 1974 and while the fact that they removed all heat in the kitchen was humorous, it wasn’t long term livable. The home owners actually stored produce inside of a kitchen cabinet during the winter, it was so cold. Our project included a full kitchen remodel, tearing down the wall between the dining room and kitchen, adding a main floor half bath, and tearing off and expanding a new garage with an attached mudroom. As hoped, our home along the creek has turned into a destination for our kids and their friends, and a place of relaxation for all of us!
